I do remember playing re-arranged non stop back in 99 when going through post break-up melancholy. Seemed profound at the time. (I was 17 then btw)

I really liked their 2 dollar bills y'all album when it came out but after that all their songs sounded the same and it got old real fast.

I'm in the minority here with NewSc2. My sentiments echo everyone else's about Fred Durst , and Wes (bad, and good respectively). This is the right time to hear their music, because I think they made great summertime music. The beats are good, the fusion of styles has mass appeal, and the talent is large. They are a talented group - even Fred, but the themes are a little goofy-> just listen to Hot Dog, the 2nd track on Starfish. It's sometimes hard to take them seriously as artists because of this. They were great, but I'll miss Wes.

Okay, the real reason? Because he sounds whiney when he sings. It just annoys me. I don't want to be annoyed when I listen to music, so I hate it.
What does Trent Reznor do in real life that's so bad? I'm asking because I really don't know anything about him.

Every time I read an interview with him, he comes across as this tyrant/control freak. He has to have complete control over everything "Nine Inch Nails".

In one particular interview, the interview was conducted over the course of several days. At the beginning of the second day, the interviewer showed him what they (don't remember if it was a he or a she, doesn't matter) had written based on the first day. There was one or two negative things said, but the rest was...well, "normal" fan fodder. He totally focused on the one or two negative things and spent way too much time back-pedalling.

I realize this may come across as pretty trite, and it is. I'm not even going to say that I'm not conveying it correctly. It's just a general impression. Probably one I endorse subconsciously. I happen to think it takes at least a little bit of "*******" to be a good frontperson.

Madonna, for instance, has it down. When she did that sex book, she was completely unapologetic about it. Ditto some of her goofier fashion choices around the same time or shortly thereafter.

I dont think people realy hate Limp Bizkit.
They hate so called nu-"metal" what is basicly Hardrock +rap = MTV HC.
I am metallist and theres 1 thing i hate more than rap, its Nu-"metal".
I can even stand normal pop and rock and stuff, but when music comes to crap poetry and then tryes to mix some real music in to it and call it "metal"....

I don't care for the rap influenced stuff. That's why I like Godsmack(2CDs) and Kittie(2CDs), they don't do that on the albums I have. My Slipknot(1CD) and Mudvayne(1CD) albums don't have any either. I've got one CD by Saliva that has some rap sounding songs on it, it's not too bad.
I guess I'm gonna have to find a Limp Bizkit album used somewhere and give it a whirl.
