These guys both really take care of you as far as answering questions and making sure you get what you need while providing top-notch products. Between the two I've spent more than I'd care to admit, and I'm happy with the products and service every time.

I bought one of Ken's cryo docks a while back, and after a short time the dock connector came apart at the seam. I contacted Ken, and he immediately shipped me a replacement, along with a free camo ALO hat, and never even asked for the faulty one back! Unbelievable customer service, I will continue to buy from Ken in the future.

I had an issue with one of Ken's cables once... I'd had it for a while (it certainly wasn't "brand new") but it didn't seem to lock into place properly. He asked me to send it in to him, and I had a brand new one, a hat, and an apology within 3 or 4 days! Ken is a class act and really stands behind his products.

Just purchased a pair of AKG K701 replacement ear pads and an SXC LOD from Ken. Excellent communication, and fast service. Thanks Ken.

Just had a great experience with a purchase from ALO, and wanted to share about it here. It started over a year ago when I wanted to buy an 80GB iMod and wanted a dock that allowed simultaneous playback and charging. At the time it didn't exist. After emailing Ken he agreed to send me a BlackGate line-out dock for as long as I needed, and could buy the charging dock like a VCap dock when it was released.

Fast forward to early January 2009 when my beautiful quilted maple VCap dock arrived from ALO. It was packed very well, and had plenty of padding to protect the contents from damage. I excitedly hooked everything up, and found out the left channel didn't work. After fiddling with the 1/8"th output jack I could get both channels to work, but the slightest bump caused it to cutout again. I emailed Ken about the problem, and he responded within minutes. I sent the unit to him to get fixed, and had it back in a week (which includes Monday's holiday for Martin Luther King). Everything works perfectly now, and I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Also, as a bonus I ordered the dock on a Thursday, and the following Monday the price was reduced by $50. I asked Ken if he could refund the amount of the price drop, which he gladly did. That was a big step above for a manufacturer, and he has gained a loyal client for life with a couple of simple steps that place him in an elite category of people who are known for taking care of their customers in a way that proves he cares about them, and is not just doing the minimum to earn a profit.

Kudos to both Ken at ALO Audio and Ray at RSA. Fast shipping, excellent customer service. In fact, I was so impressed with Ray's service when I bought the Predator, I have ordered a Shadow the following week.
