ok... just want to let the OP know that BB had the 1TB Hitachi drive for sale for $130...that's 13c/GB, compared to 33c/GB, your offering is 155% more expensive.

Even at the regular sale price the 1TB drive is around $200, which is 20c/GB.

huh? are you going to spend 130dollars +tax or 40 dollars.

Don't you realize how funny you sound?
1. Your claim is 3x more expensive than mine.
2. why don't I give you 2 dollars and then you can ship me a 10gb hd.

OP, Cheesebert was saying that your hard drive is far more expensive per GB. He doesn't sound funny, he was pointing out that for less money per GB, one can get a larger drive, so you're less likely to sell the one you have.

Well, wasn't it thoughtful of Chesebert to suggest that kyotousa was trying to screw everyone over. As with many commodities for sale, the more you buy at a time, the lower the unit price becomes. But as kyoto rightly points out, it's a question of $40 vs. $200, and many people can afford $40 who cannot afford $200. Whatever happened to 'Mind yer own business?!?'

There isn't any point to point that out to me unless Cheeseberg wanted me to drop the price.

I mean it's 40 shipped...how low you want me to go?
Anyway thx for the bump

If I were OP I would just keep the drive.. I mean just look at the market.

Buy.com I think is still running the $25 off $75 deal and you can get this 250GB Seagate 7200.10 drive for merely $48 a whole $8 more than your offer with a fresh 5yr warranty

I think a more reasonable offer would be somewhere between $24-$26
