Unless you have really deep ones, money and space wise.
They don't, I'd imagine. "Portable" is a very abused word here.

Taylor
The Full Metal Jacket has a nifty inline volume slider. It isn't that loud at max so far.
I have only been using it like that for a few days. I got the coupler as a place holder
just so I could use the LOD for line out sound until I have an amp. I probably wont
amp it for on the go though because it seems loud enough most of the time.
I was going to get a FiiO but that seems like a bad idea now.

Edit: I almost posted my pics like that but I upped them to photobucket just for the
size reduction feature.

Good lord, I hope you don't buy an amp or anything else until you get some proper earphones.

Yes, the new-ish Head-Fi layout is terrible in terms of usabilty, with the columns on the left, and the non-fixed width. With fixed-width tables at least one large pic wouldn't break the whole page.

Not to mention there's been a lot of dropdown menu points missing since they upgraded to the latest vBulletin.

Yeah, wondered where they went too.

Become a contributing member. Depending on level you get the ability to select templates with column on left or right side, or even fully removed.

Like mine...

Fixed-width tables, with image scaling would be nice though.
