Hi, i've been trying to decide which portable route I should go for. I've been looking at the UE11's and the shure 530's but when it comes down to source and amp...i'm totally lost. Can you guys help me piece together a portable setup with around $1000-1500. I didn't want to go over 1000 but i can if its worth it. I also wanted to have a fun iem as my other phone is the k701.

That isn't a bad idea.....but is the ue11 really worth it? thats what i've been trying to find out from other threads. Are there other customs I should look into like sensaphonics or livewires?

When you have that money for a portable setup, UE11 is the ultimate goal.
