Great idea!

I play and sing bluegrass and old-timey music in the Four Finger String Band. If you're in the SF Bay Area, tune in to 91.5 FM tomorrow (Monday) night at 7:30. We'll be playing live for the better part of an hour.

I haven't checked in for a week or so; it's good to see that we are off to a start.
This week, my group, The Exploration Project or TEP played live at The Yippie Cafe Museum on Bleecker St. in Greenwich Village-NYC. TEP is Scott Rifkin on Guitars, Matt Posner with words and poetry and Eric Henty painting landscapes and abstractions. The event went well and it was recorded for Public Access Television in the NYC area. Additionally, I just bought one of those mini recorders; so I was eager to try it out. The raw recording came out fine and I am now in post production for release. There were about 40 people in attendence and I was pleased with the overall performance. The Yippie Cafe Museum for those who might not be familiar with it was the living space or apartment of Abbie Hoffman and his wife Anita. It was and is one of the most famous and sacred landmarks of the 1960s counter cultural students movements. Ironically, now it is a New York State funded museum.
The next performance of The Exploration Project will take place on Saturday June 21st of this year at The Bowery Poetry Club Bar and Resturant at 408 Bowery Street- in Greenwich Village, NYC at 5.40 pm. This event is free. There is a cash $ coffee and desert bar and a cash $ alcohol bar at this Venue. Stop bye and say hi.
