Are Klipsch headphones good for classical music and jazz?

Yes, they reveal the details of classical and jazz very well, especially the Image and Custom-3 models. I believe this is discussed in some of the reviews...

I was looking through alot of reviews it still seems most people arn't sure about them. Does anyone know how they compare to the ER4p? thanks

I haven't heard the ER4 so I don't know how they compare. The X5 is excellent for all genres that I listen to which is almost anything except hip hip/rap and Britney Spears type pop. I've auditioned the X10 and I think it's great too. I use Comply tips instead of stock tips because I find them more comfortable and they minimize microphonics.

Can't comment of the Klipsch since I've never heard them, but I would stay away from the ER4s for jazz. The bottom end lacks the weight with the stand up bass, and trumpets can sound like a needle in your ear with the ER4 treble. I'm exaggerating but it's something to think about.

My favorite jazz headphone is the Shure E530, but like I said, I've never heard the Klipsch.
