low budget IEM's (40 Euro or 50$)

Hi folks,
tomorrow my dad's gonna fly to Paris for some business of his. So I thought of maybe giving' him a model of some portable IEM's.
First of all, how's the prices in France, and in Paris in particular?
I want some earbuds with good isolation (both ways).
My budget is about 40 Euro or 50$.
My list for now is:
  • Sennheiser CX300
  • Creative EP-630 (which I had before and they're great!)

Any more suggestions?
80% of my time I listen to rock, mostly classic rock, like Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan.

My source is gonna be an iPod Classic 80GB with no amp.
P.S: I rather it'll be as portable as possible so don't suggest any Grado's, yeah?

SF3 Studio gets my vote. It sounds good with classic rock.

Isn't 40 Euros more than 50 USD? I don't know where you can get them out of the US though.

hey guy, i'm from Israel too
maybe your dad should try getting a Sennheiser CX 400 at low price. i've heard many good reviews and opinions about it, saying it's highly better than the CX 300; not focused only on bass and therefore, not muddy.
from what i've learned on the internet, prices vary, but amazon uk has them for an average of 35 Euros, so that should fit the budget.

hope i've helped,
woop.

woopididi, ma kore? :P
I found this Amazon France and the prices are fine.
Amazon.fr: livres, DVD, jeux video, CD, lecteurs MP3, ordinateurs, appareils photo, logiciels et plus encore!
CX300 for 24 Euro. The CX400 cost 52 Euro. it's a bit pricey.
I think i'll go with the CX300.
But I'll love some more suggestions.
BTW, is the PX100 isolated? if so, how are they compared to the CX300?

At that price you might want to check out Rivet (Ultimate Ears lesser brand) or Skullcandy. Nothing earthshattering in terms of performance when comparing to the elite IEM's, but still much better than anything that came with your iPod, Zune, etc...

podectomized iM716 is bassy enough and 50$ is its average price on ebay

You could get SF3 at Radioshack for $50, my local one sold out but one near you might have a pair.

There isn't a Radioshack in paris.
So, I narrowed my list to:
CX300
EP630
and that's about it. I don't like the ALTEC LANSING iM716 so they're not an option.
What's better? The CX300 or the EP-630?
