Don't really want to let this go, but have had some bills come up and could really use the extra $$ so I'm considering letting this go.

Great condition MPX3 SLAM. Purchased in between Thanksgiving/Christmas from Cantsleep. I've got all the tubes and SLAM adapters that came with it plus an adapter I had Peter McAlister make to use 6GU7's in the gain stage for more options there. 3 adapters, for many, many different configuration options.

pictures, it's a little dusty, but in otherwise very good condition

Now officially for sale!

Bump, as much as I hate to see it go I just haven't had time to use this amp and I can't afford to just let it sit collecting dust.

Since purchasing it I've added an additional tube adapter so I could use 6CG7/6GU7 tubes instead of the stock 6SN7. I also have some nice 6Gu7/6cg7 tubes I will include, in addition to the nice assortment of tubes I previously had for the amp.

If you were to buy this same amp new today it would run $1200 for just the amp w/o extra tubes or adapters. The only differences would be a nicer looking enclosure and it would use a PCB instead of point-to-point wiring as is in this unit.

I would like to know more on the original "Toaster" Singlepower amplifier. How many were made and upgrades that can be done. What are slam adapters and where can I get them or make and what kind of power increase should i expect. I have Beyerdynamic DT880 with Black Dragon and stock Sennheiser HD-650 waitin for Moon Audio Silver Dragon upgrade. Thanks,Bill.
