Same as topic. What should I use? Should I put both wave and master volume to max?

Gordon claims that the master volume should be 50% on Windows and full on Mac, though this seems to contradict other claims to put it all the way up on Win32.

Definitely 100%. Max volume means least attenuation and lowest resistance on signals path = better sound.

I assumed that if you were using a USB DAC you would also be bypassing the Kmixer.........

You're right. I didn't realize we were talking about digital signal there.

Everything at 100%, except for the last volume control in the sound chain.
