OMG I was so worried that mine were fake as well. Just had mine come in today, and had the worst time getting those foam tips off, so bad I thought they were stuck on and felt like I was breaking the buds to get them off. Glad to see other people had experienced this as well .

I just went upstairs and did an a/b with your pics and my mate's SE530. Looked pretty dang identical if you ask me.

You don't have to worry much when buying armature driver earphones, dynamic driver is a sadly a different story
