It works perfectly and sounds very nice. It also makes a decent transport. It has SPDIF digital out with rca connector. Much better sounding as a transport in fact than my Sony NS-500 -DVD player and my Pioneer DVD player.
From my experience you may have to spend about $600 used to get something appreciably better in a single box cd player.. I have the original remote and box. I will only consider a sale to someone in the U.S.
