i agree.

before i put any CD into my player, i first put it through my RD2 demagnetizer and then place a herbie's black hole mat on it, and if the CD is older or it looks for some reason that the surface is dirty, i also will clean it with my furutech disk cleaner. all of these tweaks either used separately but esp in conjunction improve the quality and playback performance of my CDs.

^^ why don't you buy one. then you can take it apart, slice it, dice it, or whatever you want.

because i know the value of a dollar? im not going to spend $200 on a piece of cardboard with a couple of magnets that literally cost less than 50 cents a piece arranged into a completely unscientific arrangement.

its funny how terrified people are of finding out whats inside of their $200 paper weight.
