Length of USB cable for DAC is important ?

Yea i was not here for a moment and yet 2 post in 2 minutes , i wonder if the length of a usb cable between source and DAC change in the quality of sound ?? normally no because it's all numerical so just 1 or 0 but....

I am pretty sure its a no, but then like all cables, the longer it starts to become, the more "lag" there will be in between.

I have read from a cable retailing website saying that any USB cable should be under 15 feet in length max. Anything longer would need to have the signals boosted. I would think that this rule would also apply to source-->DAC since USB signals are 1s and 0s for all purposes.
