I bought this about a year ago from JMT and didn´t ask for battery power, but now I need it. What I have to do to not damage my amp? How I can switch from batteries to DC jack easily? How much power is needed: one or two 9v?

If you have the room, you should be able to add a jack to switch between ac and dc. Use 2-9v batteries.
I would suggest you PM JMT. He's a nice guy and he should be able to help you.

The best thing for you is a closed-circuit power jack. The batteries and the wall wart both run through this jack; the batteries normally power the circuit, but when you plug the wall wart in, it cuts the batteries out of the circuit and power comes from the wall wart exclusively.
I've written an article that will help you to modify your amp to use a closed-circuit DC power jack. First, check it to see if it's a closed-circuit jack already being used as a simple jack. (It'll have three solder lugs on the back instead of two, one of which is currently unused.) Read the article sections on DC jacks, and also on grounding. The grounding on your amp should already be correct, but changing the power setup may change that.
If your current jack is not a closed-circuit jack, you'll have to replace it, or you could instead set up a diode OR bridge. Let us know and we'll help you with that, if you need to take that path instead.
Good luck with your project!

I did it!
Thanks, puppyslugg and tangent, for your help. I opened the amp and make some continuity checks on the jack and found it was a closed circuit. Some soldering and is ready. By the way, I don't have a base for the batteries so I just wrapped them with tape for isolation and put them at both sides of the card. I think is OK for stationary use but maybe would be a problem if I want to walk with it. Any suggestions?

PM me your address and I'll send you a couple of very good battery clips that will hold them firmly.
Congrats on your mods.

Hello! I need some help. I'm building a Cmoy with batteries(2- 9 volts) and wallwart (24 volts) using a closed-circuit DC Power Jacks.
I know there is three pins on the jack but i'm not sure where to connect the wires on these pins
I have a tip-positive power supply
Thank!

Find the datasheet for the power jack, or ohm it out if you have a multimeter.
Then look at the link Tangent posted in #3.
Should be all you need...
