Fantastic guide, thank you for taking the time to put it together. I did want to point out one thing that could be confusing to people regarding hiss and sibilance. In the writeup it seems that hiss and sibilance are presented as the same thing.

i just bought a pair of etymotic hf2. crispy clear sound!

how do i store these to avoid damaging the wire? i think my mistreatment of the wires on my old pair of headphone was the cause of its downfall. don't want that happening to these. thanks!

i was wondering, is it possible to have some kind of table listing all the compatibilities of tips and iems ... the practice of mixing and matching seems to be ubiquitous, yet information about it looks so scarce... surely people dont like to buy a set of tips just to find that it wont fit their IEMs?
