Haha I must confess, I prefer Blue Turtles to any Police album.

I thought "The Soul Cages" was his best work - he lost me after "Ten Summoners' Tales".

I'm not a Sting fan at all anymore (got carried away by the police hype, but that was long ago) but this evening a friend of mine let me hear All this Time and I rather enjoyed it (after a copious meal).

Blue Turtles was very good, but I liked Tun Summoners Tales more. The one dissappointment for me on that CD was the 'new' version of 'It's Probably Me'. I love the version he recorded with Eric Clapton for the Leathal Weapon III soundtrack. It's an awesome song, much better than the version on TST.

I've never understand the open dislike some people have for Sting. His music after the Police is alright. People get particularly venemous about Billy Joel as well. I mean, who cares? They say Mr.Hack/Pastiche with Joel. The guy admits himself with good humor he does homage tunes to motown and whatever. I really dislike the bitter intellectual rock critic type sometimes. Snob dilletants, so many of them. It's just a bunch of tunes, people.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of Sting, but his latest live album "Live in Berlin" sounds absolutely fantastic. One of the best live albums I've ever heard.

People don't like wealthy people who use their fame to lecture poorer people about social responsibility. It's a mixture of guilt & envy. Personally I would rather that rock stars be like Sting or Bono and try to promote those values than just put all their money up their noses.

Social responsibility? your having a laugh, the man is a hypocrite. Tax evasion?? thats not responsible behaviour when you are a multi, mutli millionaire and your native country is bankrupt!

A*£$ hole. Thats what he is called.
