Worst Looking Headphones

Following LobsterSan's "Best Looking" thread, what's the worst looking phones?

How about worst looking by themselves and worst looking on your head?

Today received a pair of MDR-CD570's from Joe_Cool (thanks Joe they sound great), and I'll nominate them for the latter, though the PortaPros retain the former award.

I agree with the Koss Porta Pros being the crappiest-looking headphones by themselves. But of the headphones that I currently own the Sennheiser HD 280Pro looks the goofiest on my head.

Anything streetstyle looks like total crap to me.

Edit: I look pretty dorky with my HD497's on, and they give me bad headphone hair, too.

Cool, another popularity contest, or the oppisite, what exactly is the point of this thread? or any of these threads, if you're a true audiophile you could careless what they look like. Infact, I suggest everyone buy the ugliest headphones in the world and go to a mall and stand there listening to them with a blank stare at the ceiling, i'll be doing it tonight, who wants to join me? It really is nice to see this forum slowly turning into a 15year old hang out like say, genmay.net.

Yes, this is a headphone forum. We're human, so we are also naturally interested in the way a headphone looks as well as the way it sounds.

I know for the most part, most of us could care less, but its fun to poke fun of an ugly headphone from time to time.

Ok, since I fail to see YOUR point, I won't come up with a witty response for you!

We care about looks, to a limited extent, so we're automatically 15 year old teens? HA! Ugly looking (in my opinion) does NOT equal "I don't like it".

Portapros are super-ugly. So are stax. The AKG K1000 is pretty rotten, too. But they all sound good, so i've heard.

my vote for the ugliest is the Koss PortaPros.

The ugliest on my head? nope, none. Anything that graces my silky soft herbally treated hair has got too look good.

oh, and there a couple reasons i have low post count, mostly because i read, I don't post, and secondly if i do have a question, i generally ask it on irc, forums are way to slow for me.
