The left channel imbalance is now permanent. The only option for me is to send it back to Amazon for a refund at my expense. $70 out of pocket to trial dud earphones. mad.gif

call Amazon and see if they can work something out for you. I had an issue with my pair last year and got another pair. They shipped and it cost  me nothing to return it either but I am in the US

I'm sorry about your luck, I had a similar issue with my eBay seller and because I live in Canada I had to pay return shipping which was almost $30, he was kind enough to ship the replacements from Amazon free of charge. Mine were for sure imbalanced but it was more noticeable because my IE8's are the exact opposite. I hope my new pair in the retail packaging isn't plagued with this issue. I'd see if Amazon can do something for you because Logitech won't since they're discontinued.

Amazon have offered to issue a refund and to sell a replacement at the same price. However they will not ship directly to me (Australia) even at my expense. I can only use the same US address (parcel forwarding) as the original purchase. If I did this I would have to again pay the parcel forward company $50 to ship the item to Australia after Amazon ships the replacement to them.

The TF10 is not worth more than the $160 I've already spent on it. I'll part with the return shipping fees to Amazon to get what I can back.

It appears so, they are no longer listed on the US UE page.

I doubt UE/Logitech will do anything better than the TF10...

All they're doing is keeping the universals priced for the consumer, and having the customs be priced out for professional and/or audiophile types. The TF10's have had fit issues for a few people as well. Less headaches for the consumer side.

Amazon UK have these for £109. Only seen a better UK price once at play for £99 when I bought my first pair (they currently have them for £253)!
Just need to decide if I am going to buy another pair nowconfused.gif

^Yes, I agree.  Very well said.

It would be silly from UE to discontinue their most popular product

Problem is, members here are not Logitech's sole target audience, and even though it still says "UE or Utimate Ears", its really Logitech.  Excluding the eco-box triplefi10, I don't think it is the most popular product by volume and in business it's all about volume to increase revenue, and selling any product for 75% off retail price is not a good business decision.

This is all personal opinion but I've spent just under $200 at this point, I feel it's completely justified, I really do love the TF10s. Worth every penny.

Until there's a direct and comprehensive comparison between the 15vm and 10vi, I'm speculating that 15vm is nothing more but an exact copy of the latter and is purely marketed for the Asian/European markets now that the Americas had its years with the 10/vi.  In fact, I won't be surprised to see in the near future of 15vm fakes with one low quality driver.  Like most other IEM, they are Made in China.

^^^Isn't that the exact same 'phone though? Just marketing/naming nonsense, right?

Anyway, glad I got mine when I did.
