My problem is not the warranty right now.I would pay if I could have them fixed somehow.Of course I wouldn't pay that much as I bought my IEM's for a price around 120$.So it is not worth a pricey repair I assume.

Someone also mentioned having them turned into customs. If its just the plug that is damaged that could be your solution as well. We are actually dong a group buy with InEarz and everyone is sending their TF10s in to be remolded for $85.00 and you get free art work with this. But if the quota of 25 is met its 15% discount instead of just $5.00 off. Not sure if this could be your solution. Just trying to help though.

I can't even imagine they are not repairing their products. This sounds insane to me.I'm not speaking about warranty covered ones but about all the others that have exeeded the time of the warranty. I mean, when you buy something you're not buying it for the period that its guarantee is on.

I tried to get in contact with Logitech via their email support option.I hope I did it the right way and -at least- get a response....

No, I'm not talking about the cable. The plug of the left earphone came out as a whole, resulting that 2 wires (green & red) can now bee seen.I'm going to post photos later.

Do I have to contact Logtech or Ultimate Ears instead?

You would contact Logitech.  UE only deals with their custom line products.  If I recall, Logitech didn't ask me for the purchase date or location, just the serial number.  It's worth contacting their support.  Twice they've replaced my cables with minimal hassle.

Can you send a picture of what you mean?

I agree with you on this. Logitech is very forgiving even when you are out of warranty. My old Z5300 (or whatever the flagship was before the Z5500 came out) broke; they were constantly cutting in and out. I was out of warranty and logitech still offered to replace them but with a lesser model as they discontinued my model. I told them no but if I could pay the difference in price between the Z5500 and I'll take that model as it is what replaced my defective unit. They agreed and I paid about $170.00 for my Z5500s with free shipping. Not bad at all IMS. I see them going for over $900.00 on amazon now (RFLMAO).

Well as long as you are enjoying them, that's all that matters :). Anyways I have my IE80s and FX700s to tie me down until my remolds are done. Particularly curious though how the Studio V will perform with all the above?

I also love the way TF10 is, but sometimes it feels like it lacks the mid or the mid is pushed way back. So I'm hoping that adding extra drivers (2mid and 1high) can bring the mid forward without compromising the sound stage. I've looked around and the reviews for the UM TF10x6 is generally positive on retaining the original sound signature, but who knows... I will have to wait to hear it in person to tell.

PM me if you would.  I might want to get in on this depending on timing.

You may wish to try an amp and new cables first.  I can't testify to different cables as I have only run mine with stock cables to date, but I can say that these benefit from good amping and I have no complaints about recessed mids when playing through any of my portable amps as compared to through the H/Os on my various iDevices.

Logitech no longer carries the UE10.  If its under warranty, there's a good chance you'll get the UE 700 instead.  At least that was the experience with other members.  Also, I hope most people here knows that a reshell will change the sound a bit, for better or worse - YMMV; even more so when adding more drivers.  I'm assuming the 6 driver upgrade that is talked about is from UM for $500 (including shipping).  Yes, a silver cable will change a sound a bit, but it won't be like night and day - YMMV.

I will have to wait a bit for the amp. I have iBasso D4 but it's currently not in my hand. I gave it to my friend for mod, because I'm sick of swapping batteries twice a day. And unfortunately I do not have an desktop set up. I'm currently using the Westone cable but I have not compared it with the stock cable due to the difficulty of changing cables on TF10... It literally would take like half an hour to get the westone EPIC cable in the sockets. and by that time I'd already forget how the original cable sounds (I don't trust my memory.) Anyway, the EPIC cable still sounds a bit lacking in the mid. I just ordered the Chris_Himself cable but I won't get it this week nor next week.

Also, for those swapping out cables with the Westone, the pins are larger than UE.  Once the holes in the earpieces are enlarged by the Westone or any other cable with larger diameter pins, the UE cable will be loose.  Just a precaution, but shouldn't matter much since the original UE cable is crap.
