Ahhh I shouldn't complain, I have a decent place to sleep and make more money than I need to have a home and eat well.

And I have some sweet headphones too... ^_^

Any chance anyone has purchased this cable and have any comments? A cheap cable would be good right now. Thanks.

Though I haven't tried these new ones, but, i've read some good posts about sunricky and you would save $9 as well, compared to FiiO's RC-UE1 & 2. Meantime let's heat more comments from others too........

FiiO RC-UE2 user here and it's been a great cable so far, about a month or two with no signs of being used.

ok thx. But i think the only issue with UE2 is that the 3.5mm jack being so big, isnt it?

Nah pretty standard size plug. I've seen Ppl claiming that they are microphonic bit that's not how I find them

Ok.but the pictures reflects pretty big on the metal handle part. Btw how is the sound compare to your older ones of any model?

Can't remember. Long time since I had my TF10 with stock cable until I lost it and bought this one with the FiiO cable.

I'm only guessing, though going off the pictures that cable linked is actually the same wire strands and sheathing as Dark Lord which sells for almost double the price. Dark Lord was popular here and remains so. Since it has become popular I've witnessed the price jump up from about $35 to $45 in the last year. If indeed this cheaper cable uses the same strands then you will be pleased. (I know they're both silver plated)

I have a hunch Dark Lord's higher price is really just selling off it's name now, these newer cables are simply the same easily sourced wire. Just a guess, take a look at the pictures and see what you think. Actualy it all looks the same besides the jack and slightly different ear hoop mould.

Also, be aware the cheaper cables ear hoop mould will spin the TF10 housing 45 degrees on insertion, this can cause fit problems, however simply heating them carefully you can make them more into a hoop as the bottom cable shows.

Cheaper cable.

Btw: I've been thoroughly enjoying my TF10 this long weekend, they always come back to surprise me.

I have a not so good photo somewhere, but I'm sure you get the idea.

This cable: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281163420015?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Only due to Chinese new year most China located sellers have closed their listing atm.

I also need to put a light warning that one of my ear hoops arrived moulded in the wrong direction which reversed the +/- polarity, I needed to reheat them which wasn't to hard. The pins were also little tight, just to be safe I filled them down a fraction with a nail file (very easy) With that said it's a damn shame I ran into those small issues because it's a nice looking and sounding cable.
