Just got UE900's myself while they were half price. I find them technically, a far better sound than the TF10 in every respect, but I hate the mmcx connectors and the memory wire is not very good either. I also find their more neutral tone, not the exciting sound that the TF10 is.

My UE900 are either going to be reshelled and maybe an extra driver added, or sold. Not sure which yet.

Reshells may not be as expensive as you think. Check Cosmic Ears website, they are in Sweden so you won't be stung for any import duties in Italy. They reshelled my TF10's for me and did a great job.

So... I found a store selling the TripleFi 10 and I felt that I absolutely had to get it.

One issue I currently face is that the last two boxes left in stock are from different revisions of the same thing.

Both say TripleFi 10 Pro, but the small serial number on the bottom right of the back of the boxes state Rev4 or Rev5.

What's the difference and which should I get?

Didn't you make a thread on this? I've never ever in my time heard of TF10 referred to as Rev4 Rev5. the packaging was changed , but the contents and sound should be the same. Close your eyes put your hand in a hat and pick a number.

I did make a thread, but someone else recommended me this thread, so I came here to ask.

Also, I know there is a cable difference because I can tell the difference from what I can see, but won't a cable difference cause a sound difference?

Besides packaging the only differences I've ever read about are the cables provided. Specifically the male plug being either a straight one or a 90 degree/right angle. The general consensus being the 90 is the preferred one. The IEM's are the same.

I'm at home now, not at the shop (which is kilometers away). I can describe it though.

One's like the newer Logitech-UE cables, rubbery. The other's similar, but thinner, than my Etymotic ER-4PT. It's got this plastic surrounding it. I can tell it through that window in the box.

It's obvious the 90 degree connector would be better, but which revision has it? The newer or older ones?

One last thing: Tuning-wise, there won't be a difference, am I correct?

I got them today and am loving them. The first thing I noticed is just the overall clarity of everything! I also ordered the Sony hybrids so I wen with those right away without even trying any of the provided tips, since I've read that a good seal is crucial and the hybrids seemed most recommended. The highs seem to really shine and for the first time I finally understand what people mean when they say quality bass vs bass quantity, but be assured these are not lacking any bass for me. I'm running through all kinds of music and just pricing up all kinds of nuances. Also, I'm not a "rocker" type but all kinds of guitars really seem to stand out with these. I think these are what people mean when they say "fun" sound signature. I hope I'm not mixing up terminolgy...but you can mix up "AWESOME"

Loving these!!

The Monster Gel Super Tips to great things for t he TF10. Amazing soundstage! Hold them for 20-30 seconds before inserting so they can warm/soften up a bit.

I forgot to mention. You can order any combination/size you want, so it actually works out better then Sony branded hybrids which only offer you one set  of each, which in turn usually only one sizes fits anyway.
