Wants to try: Cambridge Audio Azur 840c

Hi guys,

Does anyone have an 840c that wouldn't mind loaning it to me for 2-4 weeks? I will be happy to pay a rental fee if required, shipping and insurance both ways, and will of course leave excellent feedback for you.

I just got done auditioning an Audiomeca Enkianthus DAC ($5,500) with similar technology to the 840c (by Anagram) but I didn't buy the used unit because of serious phase lock problems.

I'm interested in purchasing an 840c but want to try it out first. So if you have one that you want to sell (in a silver finish) and will accept monthly payments (my feedback is exceptional and several vendors have let me make payment plans to them), send me a PM.

If you don't have one that you want to sell but will still be willing to loan me the 840c (black or silver makes no difference since it's a loaner), I would be very grateful.

Thanks so much,
PJ

Dude, that's a deal you make with a Cambridge Audio dealer.
Buy an 840c on the understanding that if you don't like it you have a week or two to bring it back.
I'm sure that with a little persistence you'll find an amenable dealer.

If
Monthly payments (without credit card) + authorized dealer = highly unlikely.
and
Monthly payments (without credit card) + trust + perfect feedback + Head-Fi sponsors = has happened several times.
then
Monthly payments (without credit card) + trust + perfect feedback + Head-Fi members = quite possible.
