Headphone sightings in anime

Some of us know that some in th anime fandom also have a thing for headphones, as in the collection of girls wearing various kinds of headphones. Now I have my own first confirmed sighting of a pair of AKG K701 in an anime.

This is in an anime called "Ghost Hound", ep. 15 at 15:31. Although it may not look exactly like the originals, there are enough details to figure out what the headphones are supposed to look like, especially around the headband section.

The funny part is that I'm watching this on a pair of k701.

I'm still wondering what headphones the thug is wearing in The Fifth Element when the bugged cockroach gets whacked. I laugh every time.

could be K501s - considering there's no bumps on headbands.



W5000? W2002? W100? not too sure. Could be L3000 as well.

K501s does not have the metal plates on the sides. My guess is it's a K601 with a white paint job.

I know there were several instances of headphones appearing in Interstella 5555, but I think they were just generic non-specific phones.

I have always wondered which headphones shaman king used in the series. Orange headphones are rare, maybe they just made them up.

Persona 3 and 4 both have a variant of Audio-Technica's (and probably many others). ATH-EM9 and ATH-FC700, respectively.

Edit: Technically, anime doesn't refer to just television shows/OVAs or movies. It's just the general term for Japanese animation. But yes, I'm aware that both P3 and P4 are video games.

That's from the video game.  Was the AT headphones in Persona Trinity anime?  I may check it out and see for myself.
