i dont know if this is the right forum for this, moderators please move it if you think it should be somewhere else. but anyway, i cant contain my excitement about apple's upcoming music subscripiton service whether they obtain universal music or not! there's not a mac subscription service out there right now, and even the ones that do exist for pc seem to have pretty lowly label/artist support. hopefully apple can turn things around. this would be an awesome service for us mac users if it gets off the ground (rumored to be later this month), and ESPECIALLY if it's using the mp4 format as is also rumored. sorry in advance for that comment to you compression haters 
[edit] - aargh im always forgetting stuff the first time i make a post and have to come back and edit. but anyway, i think this would be a great way to pay artists while hopefully keeping the RIAA out of it, and with the thread about kazaa and constant attacks, it would be a great, reliable, and safe way to get legit music
