I am going to be spending a bit of my tax return on my first tube amp, and I've pretty much decided on either a Little Dot MK II or III. They're both within my price range, and I've heard good things about both. What I haven't heard, though, is a side-by-side comparison. I don't know enough about tube amps to be able to tell from the specs, so I am asking anyone who's heard both to explain the differences between the two.

I bought these puppies just before Christmas and they have been a revelation. I can't tell you how much they suit my listening tastes. I love close listening with lots of treble and tight...

It's very small player, so I like it. I have Clip+ since Christmas and I'm very satisfied!

First of all let me say this is one of my favourite BA driver earphones I have ever heard. That said, being a basshead, these didn't deliver in the bass department - I can't deny the fact...

The MkII has a smaller footprint than the MkIII, just thought I'd throw it out there in case that matters.

I love my MKII. I recall, though, that Penchum, in one of his posts, said to go with the MKIII for the extra $40. I am sure you cannot go wrong with either one.

That's true. If you have the $40, go for the MKIII. Both are excellent amps and you couldn't go wrong with either one.
