Update: just tried the olives last night, carefully twisting the narrow tube into the wide nozzle of my XBA-30. Though it wasn't fully plugged all the way, they fit like a glove in my ear canals. Better isolation, fuller sound, yet a bit anemic highs maybe due to foam dampening. i dabbed just a tiny bit of petroleum jelly outside the ear canal for better insertion of the compressed foam. Comfort after expansion is a bit bad, and I agree with the posts here regarding the urethane material that the olives are made of. Nonetheless, i'm a happy camper. If I have the sources and funds, I'll try making modded foam tips to seek for better comfort, w/o compromising sound sig. Thanks for the "tips".
