Some strange sound like cracking driver on se530.

I just got se530 for a month. After extensive listening for many times,I feel the whole sounding of se530 very best but just only little strange sound is produced especially in the range of high frequency or some time on the vocal sound range. It sound like they produced from cracked drivers. Is se530's driver really easy to crack?

I hear what I suspect is the same sound from my TF10.
In my case, I think it's the amp.
Have you tried a different source?

You're hearing discrepancies in the source. In some cases you can narrow it down to a specific instrument or even a specific microphone that's doing that. I've noticed this before too from listening very closely to things.

I plug se530 directly on my ipod classic. I know that se530 dramatically roll off in high frequency range. So I adjust my EQ to treble booster for more treble and then notice this sound. But Flat EQ seem not to have this kind of sound. Is amping will solve this? or any suggestion?

So there is not a problem of earphone but source.

Checking on the Amp forum says that a RSA Tomahawk solves this roll-off issue, but I cannot confirm that.
