Upgrading to a Graham Slee PSU1 power supply for the Graham Slee Voyager? Will it work!?

The GS PSU1 is included as a component of the more expensive version of the GS Solo (the less expensive version simply uses a different power supply), but, as this picture shows;

it looks like the 'tip' of the connecting lead would fit into the power-socket of the GS Voyager portable amp.

I was thinking about getting one of these as an upgrade for the GS Voyager - albeit a rather extreme upgrade, as this power supply will cost only $20 less than the amp itself(!)

Of course, if I did this, I could later buy the cheaper 'entry level' version of the GS Solo without the PSU1...

Has anyone taken a similar approach, does it work well, and does the PSU1 offer any sort of sonic improvement to the GS Voyager?

Thanks in advance for your input!!

IMO you would be wasting your money. I have had a GS Green Solo and two Voyagers. I have tried various PSUs w/ the Voyager and if you listen at very loud levels a 24 Volt PSU may offer a very slight difference.

However the price difference between a 24 Volt PSU and a 12 Volt PSU is minimal.
