New with K701's...amp suggestions - Page 3

I made this thread a little while ago and already pulled the trigger on an amp

There were just so many options, and I got interested in the Max'd Desktop from HeadRoom, but decided I'd rather get it piece by piece and not have to wait. Decided to get the Ultra Micro Amp. I have an Astrodyne power supply on the way that I ordered today, and when I have the money I'll be ordering the Ultra Micro DAC along with another power supply. It costs less money than the Max'd desktop and the DPS that it would need, only with the expense of less inputs that I don't need and a neligible performance loss (or maybe even none). I like how they can be staked, which = less space, and I can always upgrade either the amp or DAC in the future instead of upgrading both. I went quite a bit over my original budget, but hey, it's an expensive hobby.

I was disappointed by it at first, but after some time it has really improved quite a bit, and I'm loving it. People that I have listen to it are amazed at it...along with being amazed by how much I payed for it..

I'm fine with people still giving suggestions though even though I don't need anymore, because I'm sure some people would still be interested in the suggestions, especially with the, what seems to be, influx of people interested in the K701s recently here
