Linkin Park - Meteora

This is a great album for those people who have had problems in past relationships(and who hasn't). There seems to be a lot of songs about heart ache and losing yourself in someone else. Great album for me lately!

Lying From You

I'm lying away from you
(No, no turning back now)
I want to be closed inside so let me go
(No, no turning back now)
Let me take back my life
I'd rather fight all alone
(No turning back now)
Anywhere on my own cause I can't see
(No, no turning back now)
The very worst part of you is me

Breaking the Habit

Clutching my cure
I tightly lock the door
I try to catch my breath again
I hurt much more than any time before
I have no options left again
I don't want to be the one the battles always choose
Cuz inside I realize that I'm the one confused

Figure.09

And now, you've become a part of me
You'll always be right here
You've become a part of me
You'll always be my fear
I can't separate
Myself from what I've done
Giving up a part of me
I've let myself become you...

I loved their first cd except for the crappy production. How's the quality on this one?

the only songs i like on either album are the ones with no vocals (Cure for the Itch, Session)

I like the first cd, and yes the production is suck on the first cd, it's good on meteora but I just like 2-3 song on meteora album.

The same.

BTW, i loved Hybrid Theory but i think Meteora kinda stinks so far....

Songs about past relationships? They did that one the first album....i gotta give this extremely short cd (36 mins short) a big thumbs down.

I listened to it last night. More of the same kind of stuff, with a little better production. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing yet, but I do hate their price for their CDs.

the first one was 37:15 long. It's funny how I can fit both their albums onto one minidisc without resorting to LP2. they have a more expensive version that comes with a dvd. I dislike how they are packaging their cds in paper cases. they get crumpled too easily.

anyone liked Reanimation? i didnt really like it, i sold it after a few listens. this second one is better, just seems to be more of the same from the first album though.

I think Linkin Park has some of the worst lyrics out there. It seems like they're trying too hard to appeal to teenage boys, so everything comes out sounding derivative. Just my lil ol opinion.

I really like this CD no matter what you guys say. And the lyrics are great and I don't think they are meant for teenage boys. Man, you must be high!

you should try listening to songs that are not radio staples, try the track "forgotten" from hybrid theory.

I really like this album from then, indeed it might even be my favorite. See I think I like it a bit more just because it seems to have a bit more of that rock tinge. And has anyone else found that the mids on this album are just fantastic for some reason? or am i crazy?
