Yes I have. I have various binaural CD's - some good, some great.

Ow that's a real great thing you're experimenting with here! When I find the time I'll grab my phones and listen to what you've done. Can't come up with something I would like to hear now but a thunderstorm is always great with rain falling on the roof while standing on your porshe.

Don't know if you have seen this but in the music-forum there's a thread with all binaural recordings, free for download legally.

Not too many thunderstorms here in Southern California. I'll keep my eyes on the forecast.

1) What dummy head did you get, and roughly how much was it? What kind of mics in it?

I have always meant to get around to doing binaural recording, myself. There's a few spots near me where the sound is just unbelievable, and I'd love to record them.

2) There's a podcast of people who go on the rides at Disney parks and record them in binaural. Some of the recordings are good. Some are, well, interesting.

Wow....this thread is back from the dead...

1) Custom made dummy head with custom made microphones. Cost was under $1,000.00

2) I also record stuff at Disneyland from time to time. Check my blog if you want to hear some of my recordings.
