"Wireless, Wireless" In-Ear Monitors

Thread Starter
I work for a musician who plays piano and drums. For playing the piano live, I'd like to get him the UltimateEars Custom UE7 Pro's, which I'd plug into a bodypack receiver, such as the Senneheiser ew300IEM G2 Wireless In-Ear Personal Monitor System.

As for the drums, he prefers to do away with the bodypack receiver. Does any manufacturer make a truly wireless in-ear monitor (with the receiver built into the earpiece) ? Is there such a thing ?

im pretty sure there isnt one that is truly wireless right now. the best is to plug into bodypack receiver.

Sennheiser's MX W1 are truly wireless earbuds, each earpiece not having a single wired connection. However, they're not in-ear. We can probably expect some IEMs using Kleer wireless technology, at least from Senn, in this year or next year.
