Thank you tomb.
It's exactely that.
They are more neutral than Vcaps and more natural sound.
But i like the Vcaps sound too.

KoKoKtunch, don't hesitate, it's a great choice.
They sound neutral with a touch of class.

effectively, it'snt the same cost !
If they sound so great than the mundorf, it's a bargain.

the real question is the mundorf gold/silvers vs vcaps

Mundorf silver/gold's are said to work well for power supply bypass duties, but nobody seems to like them as signal coupling caps.

I have Silver in the signal path and listen it VS Vcaps.
Résult :
Mundorf Caps sound better than vcaps.
Try this configuration, it worth the job.
They are more clear and details, great for listen Jazz.

Vcaps teflon is supposedly one of the best though...

Yes, but it'sn't the same cost.
I have never heard Teflon caps.
My experience is only Vcaps VS mundorf.
And to be honest Munsdorf have my preference.
So, if someone have made the same experience it could be great to discuss about it.

Mundorf silver/oil is indeed very clean, neutral sounding in the signal path.
Depending on the applications, alternative cap-materials like teflon, polystyrene can be very good too.
But remember that... caps are necessary evils, use it only when the circuit is asking for.
The best cap is NO cap at all.

I have been toying with this idea for a while... especially since the silver/gold are being discontinued and can be had for a little cheaper.

As for their being no cap at all... I am not about to hook in a transformer.

yes, it's exactely that, clean, neutral and a touch of CLASS.
and yes i need one in the signal path between Imod and amp.
Mundorf sound great compare to my Vcaps dock, and don't need so much burn in time to be optimum.
With Vcaps, it's need time to obtain an equalization bass and treble, with Mundorf it's great at the first time.
But, i don't know why, it's just like that.
