i guess ill throw in a little intro as well.
no, i did not pick it. no, i dont know if my parents were just drunk when they picked it or they hated me when i was born and just wanted me to go through life with an annoyingly hard to say name. yes, i think they did it on purpose. no, they will not publically admit to it. yes, i think they do it at dinner when im away at school
my audiophilehood started in august last year but with school taking up most of my time, i still dont know anything. hoping to learn a lot from this meet.
in the past ive been called mike, and bob, and at times, analog. as a result a few friends started calling my cj after a character i wrote up for a second grade project (long story). the guys name was crappy jones. feel free to address me as any of the above or any other name your dear heart desires. i dont mind.
"No.
Why, you may ask? Go ahead ...
Because my name is Tyll, and I'll be there. I tend to scare the girls away.
Well, Boomana likes me, but she hangs around middle schoolers all day so she's tough.
(Garmentus Vulgarus. Yeah, I think I've earned that nickname.)"
boomana is a female? o.O a female head fier with a pair of r10s. dare i say im impressed and well, turned on if its not too bold to mention. usually in nerd-heavy hobbies, its mostly a testosterone driven fan base. i guess its the same thing as finding out a girl who plays counter strike. the notion is odd at first but then you get used to it. boomana, i dont mean to offend you by saying all this, just merely mentioning you are the first female audiophile ive met, or well heard of.
