You mean we're not going to The Abbey!? That is nuts (especially if we are around the corner at Mango Alley or whatever that place is called!). Miami Beach ain't THAT far...

Oh, yeah, and for those of you who haven't met me, I will be the tall, sword-yielding bad-ass made up of five robotic lions.

Heheh, that's because I talk less when I'm drunk.

Want me to shut up? Hand me a drink.

My name is Ken.

Sometimes I reach for the iron, I know its general location, but I grab not the handle but just below the handle - you know that hot part. Yeah don't do that friends. Its best to actually look at the thing that you want to pick up, especially if its oh about 700 degrees.

I can't wait for this, bringing the whole Fam, and a crate full o gear.

My name is Alex, by the way. Actually, it is Alejandro, which is Spanish for Alexander. But Alex will do.

Hello, my name is Alex.

I’ve been into audio for almost 50 years, starting when stereo was the ‘new thing’.

While at CamJam08 my plan is to audition high-end Grados, RS-1 and GS-1000 phones and portable amps. But most of all I want to meet the all the people whose contributions make Head-Fi such a great place to hang-out.

PS Count me in on the Brother Tucker’s run.

Hi my name is Nate and I'm a DIY-aholic. I hope to have something to bring in the way of an amp but will only have myself to blame if I don't.

My name is Mike and I am the one that decided it would a great idea to get my Florida, a NYC and SF friend involved in organizing this event.

Hi, My name is Darren and I am gutted I can't be there with you lot.

Although I live in Spain I am actually in Las Vegas the same weekend ( is that far from Florida )

I would love to listen to some RS1s, R10s and a Orpheus, but more than anything I would enjoy going for a few beers and watching the band. Its our 10th wedding anniversary or I may have ditched the wife and come along.

Never mind, Maybe next year ?

I'd be in favor of an open mike "happy hour" where basically everyone (even the shy people, who are few and far between) can say a few words, like "Hey I'm having a great time, I'm Wmcmanus in case anyone has yet to have the distinct displeasure of meeting me." Kind of a name and face association thing.

We've not done that before, or at least not at any of the meets I've attended. The name tags help but there are hundreds of people so an official "meet and greet" type of happy hour would be great.
Karaoke during happy hour?

No.

Why, you may ask? Go ahead ...

Because my name is Tyll, and I'll be there. I tend to scare the girls away.

Well, Boomana likes me, but she hangs around middle schoolers all day so she's tough.

(Garmentus Vulgarus. Yeah, I think I've earned that nickname.)
