Just finished reproducing the test with both my PC sound card and Go-Vibes USB DAC. So far the results are consistent.

Now you are about -3db at 50Hz. Weird.

How could I go about getting response curves off my Macbook which has headphone out, USB or optical out and microphone in? I'd like to test mine. I can't check mine right now because my 10yr old has it in his room (after bedtime).

I use RMAA for testing, you can get it here. You will need headphone out and line in, but I am not sure whether mic-in can be used or not.

The Rightmark audio testing app just killed my Windows XP Pro. I get the blue screen of death and an instant reboot everytime I get past the password screen!!!!!!!!!! I can't even read the codes because the screen goes away too fast, and I'm stuck in a loop.

Arghhhhhhhhhh!

Three years without installing any new apps except Quicken updates, with NO crashes, and now I can't even pay my bills and have them arrive by Friday because the (*&%&(%# program is SH*T and killed my &^$@#_*)( PC.

Now I know why I like Mac so much.

I keep all my data in the all users doc folder, and keep links and cookies backed up there too, and found I could log in as my wife into a spare administrator account, but not able to log in as me. So I logged in as her, deleted myself as a user, recreated the user, and copied the data back over, and it's working. But I am afraid to run RMAA now.
