LP Record mailers

Does anyone know where I might be able to buy cardboard mailers for 12in vinyl records. A local Orange County/LA County store would be preferable as I only need a few, and shipping on these from internet sellers seems to be pretty high.

Try the US Post Office.

They call them "Media Boxes" or something of the like. You can also try a FedEX or UPS Store.

If your only shipping 1 or 2 albums you can cut 2 pcs of heavy gauge cardboard a little oversized and use packing tape all around the perimiter. I have recieved albums shipped with this packing and have not had issues. Maybe you can double tape for added insurance.

I know this site sells them, along with all kinds of other media storage.

The container store has a nice 12x12x6 box. Cost is something like $0.89..

I had great luck with LP Mailers from Cameron Packaging (LP Record Album Mailers Multi-Depth Bookfolds). Unfortunately, the minimum order is a bundle of 25.

I've also had good experiences at Sleevetown.com (although generally buying CD mailers, rather than LP mailers).

If you only need a couple, how about just buying a couple new LPs by mail and re-using those mailers. :-)

Thanks for all the info...

Thank you for all the suggestions...
Just wanted to make sure I had all the supplies I would need to pack anything I can sell as my Vinyl experience/experiment has not cracked up to be what I anticipated.

They always have them at the Pasadena City College record swap meet. First Sunday of every month.

See ya
