Recabling sr-80's in Canare Starquad, upgrade?

Ok,

I have the opportunity to get my sr80's recabled in the smaller Starquad (mini L4E5C) and I have heard that the Grado's respond very well to recabling.
I am personally just looking for a more reasonable cable to deal with.
Would there be an upgrade to the sound?
If so, what should I expect?

No but I am looking forward to reading about someone who has tried it!

I've recabled my SR60s with mini starquad. Not for SQ reasons but simply having a shorter cable than stock, and to get rid of the Y splitter. My system and rig have changed so much that I couldn't tell you if there was a difference unless I de-recabled them.

Though I can say they sound incredible with bowls (and a thin layer of foam over the drivers). Stay away from techflex if you do recable them, just leave the jacket finish.
