Moon Audio - What Are Your Experiences

I'm interesting in a purchase from Moon Audio. I haven't had any experience with them. Any recommendations or experiences anyone cares to share? Thanks in advance.

I had my SA5000 recabled by Drew about 2 weeks ago. He turned them around in about 12 hours! The workmanship is flawless. Couldn't be happier!

I bought my Grado SR60 from him. I actually drove to his home (I was leaving the next day on a trip) Great guy, good price. Would buy from again.

what is it you are thinking about buying? i recall reading some problems with his senn cables - the connectors. not sure what ever came of it.

Drew is very easy to deal with,stands behind his products as well as making quality ones.What more can you ask.I have dealt with him a few times.

Drew recabled my 701s w/Blackdragon and when I stupidly ordered the cable in a length way too short, he gave me an enormous break in price on the Blackdragon extension. It was our first transaction and he developed a customer for the long term. Since then, he recabled my Denon D2000 with Silverdragon.
Both recablings were ultra-professional and done with the greatest care. I have conversed with Drew a number of times and genuinely like him and genuinely like the improvements his cable made on my headphones. He even took my Denons apart to check on the famous loose screws issue solely because he had heard about the issue on Headfi. Highly, highly recommended.

This says it all, and the additional details from other customers should be more than enough to demonstrate Drew is a class act and a great Head-Fier, let alone Head-Fi Sponsor and supporter in many ways. If you are considering having those balanced K701s of yours upgraded, then I can tell you from personal experience that my Balanced Black Dragon K701s are THE best I have ever heard them, and I have heard them with many cable options. THE best.

As for vcoheda's comment about HD600/650 cables, the earlier version of the Silver Dragon had some fragility issues related to the silver cable's strength. Drew stood behind his product in that instance and took care of anybody who had a problem. When I had one -- as at least the 2nd owner -- it had no problems, but some did and he repaired or replaced to my recollection.
