Cowon iAudio I7 line-out?

The Cowon iAudio i7 does not have a true line-out, but I was wondering if there was a volume level you could set it to that would make the headphone out a line-out or close to.

The Cowon i7 volume adjustment goes from 1 to 40.

I am planning on getting a pair of PK1s and I already got a good portable amp, so if I could get a line-out or close to that would be really sweet.

Just experiment with the volume on the i7. I've used around 30 to 35 when I was playing with amping it. You really can't go wrong.

Thanks GreatDane. I will try just that, I was just wondering whether anyone had figured out the exact volume. Who cares it sounds great while amping it at around 30-37.
