No worries. You're not alone on that. I liked the Ultrasones from the start, no need for a mental burn-in. As far as the S-logic concerns, I still don't know what it exactly does or how it sounds like, not even when comparing to other brands. For me it's just a differ in soundsig between the Ultrasone and another brand as a whole, not just the S-logic thingy. Could be my there's something wrong with my ears though...

Ultrasones (and thus most likely most headphones) sure benefit from burn-in. As I normally listen to my burned-in ones and recently I listened to a not burned-in pair (I didn't know before auditioning that they were not burned-in) I can state without a doubt it makes a world of a difference and for sure not in my head.

I second the burn in for Ed 9's......IMHO once burned in - nothing touches them. They also like really good quality amps!
