Is the $85 copper Cryo Dock cables thirty five dollars better than the $55 silver bling bling cables?

Depends on if you think it is.
Also, don't believe the hype of "this cable sounds faster"...blah. it's only half true. Half true in the sense, that they forgot to leave out the words VERY SUBTLE. All cables are subtle in differences at best. Why do you think there's so much controversy around them? I personally prefer the sound of copper. Not only because it's ALOT more flexible (especially ALO's Cryo Copper), but it looks prettier. And when you're buying ALO, you're getting pretty and for the most part, durable. Mineas well get the MOST durable/flexible. That said, I had an ALO dock and got a Turbo dock. not only because of price, but because of reviews. And it sounds damn good. |

I like the Turbo cables. The ALO cables I had was smaller...I REALLY like the look of his jumbo/larger cables, but seeing as how the Petite is so small, you need a small termination/plug. So, if you want pretty and durable which also sounds pretty good, get the ALO. If you want just good sound for a good price, get the Turbo docks. I'm not saying Turbo's cables are ugly, but it's pretty unanimous that the ALO stuff is fairly pretty.... What it really boils down to is aesthetics vs. price, and how valuable you value one of the other. Also, you NEED a small plug like a neutrik mini or close to that size. Switchcraft etc are a TIGHT fit...
