With headphone out, what units sound the best.. as i will be using headphone out for a while.. so hard to decide, just want the best sounding unit. Best sounding with headphone out will likely be my final choice... i would prefer to keep it FLAC(easier, and i dont have to copy music then encode it again..)

5.5g ipod was appealing, but the ui of rockbox.. if it had the ipod ui with rockbox..

and btw as much as apple wants to claim that alac is lossless it's not. it's big time lossy.

how is the iaudio7? file limit on that too? i am looking at the 16gb version.

i have just bought about 20cds and ripped em to flac so far..

Check this website out for a great list of media players that support flac.  The Archos 5 is 500 GB!
