Meridian G08 voltage flexibility?

Thread Starter
The user guide suggests is a universal power supply, but there is a small orange sticker on the back stating tested at 110-120v.

I purchased unit from TTVJ shipped direct to Japan, worked fine. Now just landed in Bangkok where voltage at 220-240v. Would like to confirm if the unit is plug and play for this voltage change, like my laptop, or if other actions required.

Welcome guidance/assurance.

The G08 can be used at any voltage between 100V and 240V.

only need to check fuse rating

From Meridian Support:

Thank you for the email and for purchasing Meridian. The G08 CD player
employs a switch mode power supply so no changes are required, but I
suggest checking fuse rating as per back of unit by the mains inlet socket as
it maybe wise to change this value.

Sorry for the delay in replying but yes, the voltage can be changed and it is wise to change the fuse too.
