E-mu 0404 and foobar, not workign

My problem is every time I reboot the computer my settings go to hell. I have foobar setup to output through the E-mu ASIO drivers. It works fine. Until I shut down and reboot, then it gives me an error saying that the specified ASIO device can't be found. So I go in, delete the driver from the ASIO section of foobar, put it back in and it works again.

What the hell?

You are using a 0.9.x version of Foobar, correct?

It's a known problem with the newer version.....most of us that use the ASIO driver option have only used, or reverted to, 0.8.3 because of that problem.

FWIW, my understanding is that if you use DS2.0, and the only audio application running is Foobar, with Windows Sounds turned off and volume sliders within Windows maxed, then you should be getting essentially the same result as by using ASIO (bypassing any resampling or otherwise changing the audio data stream sent to the card.)

Yeah I'm using the latest version. That stinks, I guess I'll set it up with DS. Don't really want to go back to an older version since I've just now got FofR tweaked how I want it.
