do the q-jays have more base than the Sennheiser cx300 ??? or warmer sound
and do the q-jays offer the same isolation as the UE Pro 5?

I have the super.fi 3 Studio and you can definitely hear the hiss from my 3G iPod nano. (Mind you, I heard it from my nephew's Sandisk SANSA E260 and my brother's iRiver player, too.) Maybe a switch to a good portable headphone amp may help?

Hello, I've been refered to this forum by a member of another discussion forum in Dutch.

The reason I'm here is to ask a small question regarding an iPod Touch 32GB and Sennheiser CX300.

Right now I'm in progress with Apple to have my defunct iPod Classic 160GB refunded due to numerous problems related to my specific ipod and the new line of ipod classics in general. (My problem description: Apple - Support - Discussions - Classic Random Pauses and Gaps ... and Apple - Support - Discussions - 160 Gb Classic - Audio dropouts, gaps ... )

But enough of that. I've did a search query for sennheiser cx300 and ipod touch on this forum to see some user reviews.

Right now I'm happy with the sound quality of my CX300 on my iPod 5.5G 80GB and also on my iPod Classic 160GB. But after reading numerous reports of the very bad sound quality of the iPod Touch regarding lack of bass, bad treble and most important a constant annoying white noise hiss, resembling old tape cassette players without dolby noise reduction; I'd love to know some user experiences regarding the matter.

Topic starter, why do you want to have new headphones? Do you encounter unwanted and bad things with your Sennheiser CX300 in combination with your iPod Touch? Do you have the white noise effect? Bad sound in general?

Thanks for the advice.
