which earbuds/IEMs improve greatly with amping?

I tried amping few different earphones I had with my newly acquired MOVE and found some interesting results.
Sennheiser MX450 improved greatly, with improved bass, impact and soundstage.
Sony E-888s improved a bit, with bit more detail and improved bass
B&O A8s improved little as well, with improved bass and detail
ATH-cm7ti improved very little, little bit of pronounced midrange

Which earbuds/IEMs you tried improved with amping? which did not?
Obviously higher-end earphones such as Pk1 and shures need amping, but what about any others?

I'm just curious to find these out to see how everyone's experiences are like
Any feedback is appreciated!

UE11.... The bass needs control that none of my sources give out of the normal headphone jack.

I would assume so.. little out of my price range though

My A8 improves pretty well with my FireStone Little Country Hybird Tube amp, which I tuned for soundstage (great synergy btw). Senn MX90vc isn't too bad on amp either. However, I find PK1 responds to amp the best in general.

[EDIT] iM716 as well. Donno why I forgot it.

x2 on the PK1s. Also, the AL 716s.

ditto on both counts. Both the PK1s and the iM716s need amp

My Shure e4s didn't seem to improve much with a Musical Fidelity CANv3

livewires. definitely. opens them up and improves the soundstage.

anything that you find is fairly difficult to drive or inefficient on a dap like ipod might be good candidate for amping.

I'm lusting over livewires...I just wonder how much impressions cost to bring my whole price up. I would love to try customs for my portable use. As great is MX450 and A8s are, they are lowly compared to my K701 + Bada PH12 setup at home Since I find my alessandros extremely uncomfortable, I was looking at IEMs or customs..unless yuin pk1 is as good as people say it is.
