anyone hear this cd..... amazing.. it's not music, but a binaural story.... supposed to be scary..

I've got it and I must say that while being pretty good it's mostly narrated. So it's good, but not great. Just IMO of course.

Edit: make that narrated for a good part of the story. And a must hear nevertheless.

The aural experience of it is cool but I thought with the narration and all it was a bit too cheesy so sold that disc a long time ago.

At the very beginning a Tractor trailer rig basically runs right through the middle of your head. Wouldn't want to be listening to it while impaired...

Unfortunately, now that I have heard it I have to agree. In fact, I made the mistake of picking up a couple other binaural dramas from that company, and will be selling them also. Great sound cannot compensate for lame "acting". In future, I will stick to music and natural soundscapes if I want to add to my binaural collection.

I wasn't particularly impressed with the movie or the way the CD was presented either. But I enjoyed the recording with it's effects and stuff. Unfortunately there is too little binaural product available to compare it to so when you get one like The Mist you tend to give it maybe more credit than it deserves.
