I bought 2x OPA637BP op-amps from MatthewK

He has good communication, is friendly and helpful, and sells with good prices. Ships pretty speedily.

However, the two chips were dead-on-arrival, and Matthew and I agreed to a 50% refund. I did want a 100% refund (with return shipping) and am still a little miffed, but the seller has been as helpful as possible and we reached a mutual compromise.

Just a quick note about rogerlike's comments:

From what I can see these chips were going to be used in a META42 amp he is in the process of building. The chips were working fine before I shipped them, so something must have happened between then and now. I completely understand where he's coming from, but I am in the same boat (I'm either out of money or out of working opamps).

I have positive feedback here as you can see, eBay, and also various photography forums. This is the first time anything like this has happened to me on here or elsewhere. I always make sure things are working before I ship them, and I even go as far as cleaning the item up if it needs it (e.g. dust).

I offered 50% because I would rather both of us have some level of satisfactory closure than to have the feelings lopsided.
